SUMMARY:Birding The Rez with Hank Scarth
DESCRIPTION:Registration opens for members on May 7th (check your newsletter or Heylo).\nRegistration opens for everyone else on May 11th.\n  \nJoin us for a birding walk with Hank Scarth around the Rez (Little River Reservoir\, Saint John). \nWe’ll check out the main loop and a few side trails\, taking time to spot and listen for birds along the way. \nAll experience levels are welcome whether you’re brand new or have been birding for years. Hank is great at helping people learn birds by both sight and sound. \nWe’ll see some of our regulars like chickadees and Blue Jays\, and hopefully catch some migrants like Yellow-rumped Warblers or Northern Parulas. There’s always a chance for something interesting! \nWe’ll have a few binoculars available for those who are new. \nFree event\, but registration is required and spots are limited.

DESCRIPTION:Registration opens for members on May 7th (check your newsletter or Heylo).\n  \nJoin lichen expert Kendra Driscoll from the Botany & Mycology Department of the New Brunswick Museum for a relaxed\, mobility-friendly introduction to lichens. \nWe will meet at Fisher Lakes parking lot and take a short\, slow-paced route up to the beach/picnic area and back (a few hundred metres each way). This program is designed to be accessible and low-demand\, with time to stop\, observe\, and learn along the way. \nEvent is limited to current members of the Saint John Naturalists Club only.
