Birding Spooner Island with Paul Martin from Hampton Nature Club

Join us for a birding walk with nature educator Paul Martin at Spooner Island in Hampton and the nearby lagoons.

This walk explores a great birding hotspot. Spooner Island is a small island surrounded by marshes and wetlands in Hampton. Expect to see marsh birds such as Great Blue Heron, swallows and Red-winged Blackbirds. The Hampton water treatment plan is right nextdoor, offering beautiful views of waterfowl.

All experience levels are welcome whether you’re brand new or have been birding for years. Hank is great at helping people learn birds by both sight and sound.

We’ll have a few binoculars available for those who are new.
