July 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come learn from NB’s preeminent raptor expert, Todd Watts, Official Counter at the Greenlaw Mountain Hawk Watch, in this workshop.

The focus will be in-flight identification. Flight behaviour, plumage traits, wing and tail shape, as well as, general structure of thirteen “hawk” species will be explored. Reference material for future use will be suggested. Questions are encouraged. Bring a pen and paper for taking notes.
