Shorebirds of Irving Nature Park: Talk & Walk

Join nature educator Paul Martin for a shorebird Talk and Walk at Irving Nature Park.
We’ll start with a short presentation about the amazing migration of the Semipalmated Sandpiper and tips for identifying other shorebirds you’ll likely encounter at the park. Then we’ll head to the boardwalk and beach to see them in action and learn how they survive in this coastal habitat.
Meet at the Irving Nature Park gazebo (above the information booth). All ages welcome.
You can follow along with migration throughout the season! Find all of our shorebird monitoring reports and sign up to receive new reports by email: Click Here.
This event is part of the Shorebird Conservation and Education Project, a project of Nature Saint John with funding from NB Environmental Trust Fund and NB Wildlife Trust Fund.
