Have you ever wanted to learn more about the mosses that cover the forest floor? We’re going out with expert Bruce Bagnell to explore small-scale forest life.
Meet us at the Park & Ride parking lot on Parkside Road in Quispamsis where we will head to the Shady Grove trail to explore a beautiful hardwood forest with Greenhead marble rock outcrops.
What to Expect:
- Slow-paced walk focused on observing mosses and liverworts
- Scenic hardwood forest with interesting rock formations
- Flexible participation come and go as needed
What to Bring:
- Sturdy footwear
- Hand lens (loupe) or magnifying glass (recommended)
- Insect repellent
