Join nature educator Paul Martin for a free shorebird walk and talk at Irving Nature Park.

We’ll start with a short presentation about the amazing migration of the Semipalmated Sandpiper and tips for identifying other shorebirds you’ll likely encounter at the park. Then we’ll head to Saints Rest Beach to see them in action and learn how they survive in this coastal habitat.

Meet at the Irving Nature Park Barn on Sand Cove Rd. All ages welcome.

This event is part of the Shorebird Conservation and Education Project, a project of the Saint John Naturalists Club with funding from Birds Canada, NB Environmental Trust Fund and NB Wildlife Trust Fund.
