From Noon to 4:00 PM

Weather: Clear skies, Beaufort (Bf)3, Winds NE, 10 Deg Celsius and seas moderate to calm. Visibility 38 km. Tide High to reversing.

During Counts:
Eastbound: 133 birds
Westbound: 44 Birds

Rest Period Counts:
Eastbound 122 birds Westbound  27 Birds

Total birds seen East 255 West 71

Species observed over the bay:
Common Eider, Black Scoter, Surf Scoter,  Red-breasted Merganser,  Long-tailed Duck, Common Loon, Red-throated Loon, Black Guillemot, Ring-billed Gull,  American Herring Gull, Great Black Backed Gull,  Double-crested Cormorant, Greater Scaup, Black Guillemot, Razorbills, Harlequin Duck, Razorbill and Red-necked Grebe.

Parked; Common Eider (12),  Black Guillemot (1), Razorbills (2), C Harlequin Duck (4) , Surf Scoter (7) Red-necked Grebe (1) and Black Scoter (38)

2 Song Sparrow ,2 Savannah Sparrow, Harbor Porpoise and 3 seals.

It was quiet, with just a couple of flocks of Double Crested Cormorants, Dark Winged Scoters and some Common Eiders moving.  Likely due to the NE winds.
