Notes / Comments:
The Piping Plover is still present but to give the bird less stress I chose not to report it on eBird. There were 2 large campers parked at the flags blocking much of the parking space , this may have caused less dog walkers.
Also had a child running and chasing peeps, while they were moving towards me the child had over 1000 birds in the air, I asked the adults to get the child to stop chasing the birds , they ignored me so I told the child to stop, he went back to them. I approached , told them who I was and gave a post card and began to explain about the shorebirds, one of the ladies (2 Adults, both ladies) said they didn’t want to hear what I had to say and turned and walked back up the beach. She kept the postcard (I see that as a good thing) Merlin and Peregrine were harassing shorebirds.

Notes / Comments:
It was extremely foggy, visibility was poor, I spent a good deal of time on edge of river where a number of peeps were present
Peregrine was harassing shorebirds

# Species Observed 17
Notes / Comments (Mudflats):
Due to staying at the beach until birds started to move towards the mudflats, I was late getting to the mudflats so many of the peeps were already quite far out but did my best to ID them. Both the Merlin and the Peregrines were harassing the shorebirds.
Overall Report Comments or Notes:
Wasn’t able to meet up with Annie, wondering if Irving can put up a sign mentioning to keep children from disturbing wildlife.
