There were 2 fishermen but they were closer to East Beach than cobble, dogs off leash were not near birds, one was down East Beach the other was down by Taylor Island and I saw the volunteers chatting with owner.

I started at the marsh and stayed on it till it was time to move to beach. I was hoping to see where the majority of the birds coming off the mudflats would fly too, but there wasn’t any big push of birds off the mudflats this morning.

Notes / Comments (Mudflats):
There wasn’t a large number of peeps on the mudflats but they were still being harrassed by Peregrine and Merlin.
Overall Report Comments or Notes:
There has been a strong Northly wind and the number of peeps seems down by quite a bit. It may be that the main part of migration has taken place and most of the birds have flown south. Will see how the numbers go the next couple of days.
