Disturbances to Birds:
Marsh: Northern Harrier took a small peep, also saw it go down in 2 other places. There were 2 Northern Harriers on the Marsh. A Bald Eagle took a duck out on the marsh, and the Merlin was flying fast and low over marsh and river.
Beach: The Peregrine was flying across fast and going high and power diving every once in a while. I was watching it while I was on the Marsh.

Today was my last day for the year in the field. With the numbers of shorebirds low and nearly non-existent on the beach, I chose to focus on the marsh and see what the activity was from low tide to high tide. I witnessed more movement of the birds of prey. I heard but did not see many species of shorebirds without being able to ID species. I did hear Dunlins and peeps but did not see any, so did not record numbers.
