Milkweed Seed Packaging Session – Volunteers Wanted

We’re looking for volunteers to help package Swamp Milkweed seeds for free distribution around the province by the provincial naturalist organization, Nature NB.
We`ve been packaging free milkweed seeds for the past several years and in the last couple of years have produced several thousand packets annually with instructions for vernalizing the seeds and planting.
To give us lots of space we`ve arranged to use the church basement at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Route 100 in Quispamsis, which is adjacent the Hammond River bridge at the intersection of Route 100 and the Hammond River Road.
Start into the Hammond River Road right by the church and park in the large church parking lot beside the church. Come in through the back door just off the rear of the parking lot.
We`ll provide the milkweed seeds, the envelopes and the printed instructions. All you`ll need to bring is a pair of agile hands, your own beverage (although there should be tea and coffee available) and a few hours of your time. We hope that you can make it.
