Large number of peeps moving up river, there were 4 flocks numbering approx 50 to 70 birds per flock that flew out over beach over the flags and headed down the coast. I was talking to a photographer who told me the beach at McLarens Cove has a lot of shorebirds on it.

The peeps were in large numbers but didn’t stay long, they all headed up the river towards the marsh, none flew over Taylor’s Island.

Overall Report Comments or Notes:
Did a count from the parking lot while eating my supper after finishing Board Walk. 9 Species observed, a large number of peeps flying in from over the beach.
